LevelK hires new sales manager

As our relationships and collaborations are growing, so are we. Therefore, we start 2018 by welcoming Lauren Valmadre to the LevelK team as our new sales manager.

Lauren Valmadre is an avid film-fan, festival director and film curator from Melbourne, Australia. She has worked for some of Australia's leading film festivals and screening events including her recent roles as Program Director of the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival and as the Film Programmer of the Shadow Electric Outdoor Cinema. In the past she has also been on the short film selection panel at the Melbourne International Film Festival, FACTory pitching panels for the Australian International Documentary Conference and created her own film event, Howler Spring Break Cinema. She has been involved with other various film festivals and screening events in Melbourne including Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Underground Cinema and Three One Six Oh! Short Film Festival.

"I have always had a passion and deep appreciation for independent film and wanted to ensure in my professional career that I would help these rare, beautiful and important films reach the audiences that they deserved. This is precisely what drew me to LevelK. Their exceptional catalog of international films, focus on individual distribution strategy, innovative approach to the changing film landscape and excellent core values makes them, in my mind, the global industry leader." – Lauren Valmadre.

We welcome Lauren from the 1st of February 2018 and look forward to adding another passionate and talented person to the team.
