LevelK has acquired the rights for Nordisk Film Production 2D animation, The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear!

Animated by A Film (Albert, Niko, Help I am a Fish etc) and directed by Philip Lipsky Einstein (Ronal The Barbarian) and Joergen Lerdam (Niko, Olsen Gang..). Theatrical released planned for Fall 2017 by Nordisk Film Distribution, main target 4-8 years old.

Based on a childrens book by Jakob Martin Strid, published in 14 countries;  Norway, Germany, France, Netherlands, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Sweden, Hungary, Vietnam, Korea, Finland, and Ukraine.

Synopsis:
Life peacefully passes by in Solby until Mitcho and Sebastian find a message in a bottle by the harbor. The Bottle is from the missing Mayor of Solby with a message that he is on The Mysterious Island and has made a great discovery. They must embark on a great journey to help save the Mayor and bring him home; in the process they uncover something that will bring great pleasure to the city of Solby – a Giant Pear.
