After less than a year at LevelK, Derek Lui has been promoted to Senior Sales Manager

In September 2015, industry experienced Derek Lui joined sales outfit LevelK and established the new Hong Kong office. As Senior Sales Manager Derek will continue his work to strengthen and develop current and new business relations focusing on the Asian, North American, Australian, Russian, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian markets.

Since 2012, Derek Lui has been the Film Programming Manager of UA Cinemas responsible for acquisition and distribution. Before joining UA, Derek worked as a Programming Associate for the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival to bring in LGBT titles from around the world to the Hong Kong audiences. Derek was graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a B.S.SC in Journalism and Communication and before going into the film festival programming and film distribution film, Derek had also performed in films and TV and worked as a TV host in Hong Kong for 3 years, hosting a variety of programs including lifestyle, entertainment, music and movie programs.
