LevelK at Kristiansand International Children's Film Festival

Dear Friends,

With Kristiansand International Children’s Film Festival (Barnfilmfestivalen) approaching, we're happy to present our slate of family and children’s films, which will be screened as part of the festival lineup.

First up is Binti, the heart-warming story of a young girl who dreams of becoming a famous vlogger, while having to come up with the perfect plan to avoid her and her father's deportation back to Congo. The film premiered at FIFEM Montreal in March, where it picked up the Grand Prix plus a Special Mention. It was also honored as Best Film at JEF - European Youth Film Festival in Belgium.

We're also bringing a couple of Danish treats: The fast-paced, action-packed Hacker just opened in cinemas in Denmark and had its festival premiere at Stockholm IFF Junior this week alongside Binti. Meanwhile, the animation Checkered Ninja has become the best selling Danish film in the last 30 years after opening in cinemas in December.

Our chilling Dutch thriller Vicious will also have its festival premiere at Kristiansand, while the rustic Danish fairy tale Land of Glass and the Icelandic football adventure The Falcons completes our lineup.
