LevelK at Melbourne International Film Festival 2019

LevelK has two exciting titles to bring to this year's Melbourne International Film Festival.

Our vibrant Australian family film H is for Happiness will have its World Premiere at the MIFF Family Gala on August 11th. This heartfelt and charming film is the promising feature film debut of director John Sheedy staring Miriam Margoyals (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and Richard Roxburgh (Hacksaw Ridge, Moulin Rouge). Universal is the Australian distributor, with local release set for 2020 TBC. H IS FOR HAPPINESS is supported by the MIFF Premiere Fund.

Following its successful screening at Sydney Film Festival, our warm New Zealand drama about loss, Bellbird, will be screening in the Asia Pacific section at MIFF. BELLBIRD has been very positively reviewed by Screen, who called it a "deeply felt slice-of-life delight". Read the entire review here. Local distributor Transmission Films will release BELLBIRD on September 19th 2019.

Our Sales and Acquisitions Manager, Debra Liang, will be taking part in the renown 37ºSouth market to meet with promising Australian and New Zealand producers as well as distributors. In addition, Debra has also been invited to take part in speaking on panels for Accelerator Lab.
